Distance Education students must become familiar with NMSU’s online services in order to successfully manage their academic careers remotely. A number of resources are explained in this section to make that process easier.
|myNMSU||Course registration, financial aid status, payment information, grades, and many other student services can be accessed online at myNMSU.|
|Catalog||NMSU’s online course catalogs provide degree requirements, class descriptions, and other information for NMSU graduate and undergraduate students.|
|Academic Calendar||The Academic Calendar lists important dates and deadlines for NMSU students.|
|Canvas||Canvas is the learning management system used for the delivery of online courses.|
|Course Schedule||NMSU’s online course schedule lists the times and dates for classes from past, current, and upcoming semesters.|
|Registrar||Services from the Office of the Registrar support every currently registered student at New Mexico State University, as well as all faculty and staff who interact with those students. It is located in the Educational Services Center.|
|Accounts Receivable||Accounts Receivable is the department that accepts payments for tuition, student fees, and other student charges. It is located in the Educational Services Center.|
|Library||NMSU maintains libraries at the Main Campus, Doña Ana Branch, Alamogordo, Carlsbad, and Grants.|
|Student Accessibility Services||Student Accessibility Services at New Mexico State University offers a variety of services to students with documented physical, learning, or psychological disabilities.|
|Student Affairs||Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM) supports students at every stage in their academic journey, and has many sub-units related to student affairs.|
|Office of Veteran’s Programs||The Office of Veteran’s Programs’ function is to serve as the liaison between NMSU students and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) in Muskogee, Oklahoma.|
|Student Handbook||The Student Handbook is an official document that details NMSU policies.|
|ICT Help Desk||NMSU Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) provides assistance with user accounts, WebCT, Centra, and other technical issues.|
|Student Technologies||ICT’s Student Technology site provides resources and information for students related to using technology on campus.|
