Evaluation Practice Activities

Activity 1 - Evaluate access logs.

Access logs can help you determine issues with access and usability, or at least provide you with a starting point for further evaluation activities. For example, look at the following two access logs - one after 2 days access into the course and one after 2 weeks access into the same course and see if any patters stand out to you.

Activity 2 - Create a course survey.

  1. Draft a list of questions you have about your course and how to improve it.
  2. Turn those questions into specific survey items.
  3. Create a survey using the WebCT Quiz/Survey tool.

Activity 3 - Course Evaluation

Using the QM Rubric handout, evaluate the test course in WebCT.
