About the center

This 10,000 square foot center, located in the Compass Bank Building across from Coronado Center Shopping Mall, currently houses:

• One conference room that can accommodate up to 20 people
• Two classrooms and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 25 people
• One computer classroom that can accommodate up to 24 people
• Two video conferencing units, one in the conference room and one in the classroom area
• Undergraduate Admissions office
• NMSU Foundation/Alumni office
• Social Work field coordinator and faculty member offices

Scheduling the center

The classrooms are available Monday through Friday for NMSU use. The conference room is available Monday through Saturday for use by NMSU staff. If an NMSU event needs to be scheduled outside of business hours, there is a $10/per hour fee to pay personnel. NMSU always has priority over non-NMSU use.

To schedule the center for non-NMSU use, there is an $80/day charge.

Video conferencing fees

The fees to use the video conferencing system for meetings or classes are as follows:

• $25.00/per hour with a maximum charge of $100.00
• $10.00/per hour for facilitator/technician

Additional notes

Catering for meetings is to be arranged through each department hosting the meeting. If coffee is to be provided, please specify when you schedule your meeting.

Front parking lot is for Compass Bank customers only, use rear parking lot. If front entrance is closed please use East Entrance and ring door bell for assistance.
