Although visits to campus are rare for most online students, it may be necessary to spend time on campus occasionally. It is important to consider parking options before you arrive on campus to avoid parking fines.

When you get to campus

• Visit the NMSU Parking Department in person at 725 College Drive, located at the northeast corner of College Drive and Union Avenue.
• Request a temporary commuter student permit and inform the cashier that you are a distance education student.
• You will need:
  • picture identification,
  • vehicle license plate number,
  • and the color, make, and model of your car
